Important Signs of Illness:

  • Temperature of more than 100 ºF orally

  • Nausea or vomiting

  • Stomachache

  • Diarrhea

  • Pale or flushed face

  • Headache

  • Persistent cough

  • Earache

  • Thick yellowish discharge from nose

  • Red or pink eyes

  • Loss of energy or decrease in activity

If your camper exhibits any of these signs prior to camp:

If your child has any of these symptoms within 48 hours prior camp, it is best that they stay home. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that individuals stay home at least 24 hours after they no longer have a fever (100 degrees Fahrenheit or 37.8 degrees Celsius) or signs of a fever (chills, feeling very warm, flushed appearance or sweating) without the use of fever-reducing medicine.

If your camper exhibits any of these signs during camp:

If a camper feels unwell at camp, our counselors/staff will assess their symptoms and contact parents or guardians immediately. In cases of more severe illness, and at the discretion of our camp team, it may be necessary for a camper to return home to ensure their full recovery and prevent illness from spreading in our community.

*Please be advised that we cannot offer refunds or pro-rated adjustments for early departure due to illness*
