COVID Safety Guidelines

We understand that many parents may have concerns about COVID and the WMACS team will be implementing the following safety policies in efforts to keep everyone healthy and safe at camp. Please do not hesitate to reach out to our team if you have any questions or concerns.

Before Camp:

We will require all campers, counselors, and staff to test within 24 hours prior to the start of camp. A picture of the negative test result must be shown at check-in. We will also have test kits available during check-in. All family and friends present at drop off MUST wear a mask. We strongly recommend campers avoid high risk areas of potential infection prior to camp.

If a camper tests positive for COVID-19 5 days before camp, a 30% partial refund of camper fees will be issued. For more information, please refer to our Cancellation & Refund Policy page.

During Camp:

We will be basing our policies off of Montgomery County and Fairfax County COVID policies.

If someone starts feeling sick and showing symptoms at camp, we will provide a test for them. If positive, we will have them wear a mask and isolate until a parent or guardian can come pick them up. For everyone else at camp, it will be highly recommended that they wear a mask after potential exposure to prevent the risk of further infection. We will monitor camper symptoms after and continue to test accordingly.

If a camper does contract COVID, all parents will be notified immediately.
